My sister had one. A red one. I think it was her first car. At the time I thought it was one of the most dangerous new cars legally allowed on public roads. And I’ve driven more than my fair share of dodgy vehicles over the years.
Renault marketed it as the Le Car in the USA. In Canada and the rest of the world it was the Renault 5.
